Emotional

Emotional well-being is the practice of recognizing and expressing your emotions in effective ways, managing stress, and practicing self-compassion as you respond to life’s natural ups and downs.

Emotional Wellbeing

Your emotions are constantly shifting, and that is perfectly normal. Practice making space for both the highs and lows, and caring for how your emotions impact your thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Recognizing how emotions affect those around you allows you to hold space for others' feelings as well, which helps to create a healthier and more caring community. By practicing emotional awareness and self-kindness when things go wrong, you can better navigate life’s challenges, leverage stress, bounce back from disappointment, set and meet goals, and support both yourself and others.

Elements in Action

Treat yourself with compassion, grace, and love.

Share your thoughts and feelings with someone you trust.

Practice reframing failures as opportunities for growth.

Engage in a daily gratitude practice.

Regulate your emotions through mindfulness or breathwork.

Find healthy ways to shift your mood, like music or dancing.

Seek out professional support from a coach or therapist.

Self Reflection

Take a moment to check in on your emotional well-being by rating yourself in the areas below:

I engage in activities that help me manage stress.
I practice positive self-talk and being kind to myself.
I have coping strategies to deal with setbacks and challenges.
I seek support when I need it, whether from friends, family, or professionals.
